Curry Kitchen

Curry Kitchen

The Curry Kitchen is a pioneering partnership project between Community Interest Luton, Venue Central, Discover Islam Information Centre and local businesses.
Our aim is to provide hot meals to the most needy in Luton once a week.

We run a weekly Curry Kitchen to provide hot meals as well as delivering food prepared to homeless shelters in the locality. The meals are all paid for through generous donations from the local community and sponsorship from local businesses.

Each meal costs £1.80 and we serve close to 150 people each week in the curry kitchen, as well as providing people in shelters with a hot meal.So our weekly cost is around £270.00.

The sessions are run by an amazing team of volunteers from various local businesses who come together each week to prepare and serve hot meals to the homeless and most vulnerable people across the town. If you would like to get involved and volunteer for the Curry Kitchen, please email
